Jackie-just saw your Mom had passed in the Tribune, a little behind in my reading.
It's like a generation gone. I do remember your folks loving to hear my Dad's music.
Matthew 5:4-Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

We are so glad we had the opportunity to be neighbors, and always looked forward to seeing Barbara on our return from the south. We had such fun at the lake. One of the hot summers (04-05?) the kids convinced "Mom,Gramma" to take a dip in the lake. They were surprised when she did. The birthday parties, especially the BIG ones, Barb made it clear no one was to know her age.
You always knew when a storm was brewing as Barb would be headed up the hill and back to town at the first sign of thunder
I will miss the funny cards we sent to each other always with a newsy note.
Thanks Barb for allowing Barry and I to be part of the Scott crew. We will miss you

I will forever be blessed by Aunt Barbara! Always kind and very generous - like when we would "pop in" to visit at Sylvia Lake! How blessed I am to be a part of great family, with exceptional cousins, and even as years may separate- cherished friends - provided through Aunt Barbara and Uncle Paul! May God comfort all of you. Love, Bernie and Valerie

Dear Carol, Roxy, Jackie, Mark, Gary & Murray ~~Please accept my deepest condolences on the loss of your mom. I am glad at least, that I was able to visit with her at church in April. Barb and all of you were our beloved and great neighbors for so many years on Sylvia. Barb was always willing to lend a hand or simply supply my mom with that one egg or cup of sugar! I will always carry beautiful memories of Barb, Paul and all of you with me. Each of you and your families are in my thoughts and prayers. With much love always. Mark

I'm so sorry for your loss. Your mom was so special and she always had a smile on her face at Church when my Mom, Della Evans and me would attend. She will be missed. What a beautiful picture of your Mom!

I always told Barb that she was my boss. Barb and I were a library team and good friends. Her legacy is a long line of successful children and their families.
