Ardis ("Annie" to Butch Scruton and me) was a delight. She and Whitey spoiled us rotten whenever we visited them when we were kids. We would walk down from Oswegatchie just to enjoy the delectable lunches she would serve.
It won't be the same to visit the North Country without dropping in to see my girl. A lovely lady; she will be missed.
