WATERTOWN - Norbert "Bert" P. Worden, age 47, of Lewis Street in Watertown and formerly of Gouverneur, passed away on March 5, 2014 at the Samaritan Medical Center. He was born on August 1, 1966, the son of the late Merrill and Beverly (Whiteford) Worden. He worked for the City of Watertown until becoming disabled. Bert is survived by three sisters, Coleen Mashaw and her companion, Don Arquitt of Black River, Kathy and Joe Jesmer and Laurie Nowak and her companion, Mike Heinz of Gouverneur; three brothers, Daniel T. Worden and his companion, Tommy of DeKalb Junction, Kevin and Teresa Worden and Michael and Cora Worden of Gouverneur; many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and Norbert's dog, Frosty. He is predeceased by his mother, Beverly Whiteford Worden, his father, Merrill Worden and a brother, David Worden. Bert loved swimming and being around animals. He also loved spending time with his family, watching old movies and listening to do-op and 80's music. His funeral service will be private.
