I remember sitting around the kitchen table with my Aunt Millie and Uncle Richard. They taught my mom Hazel and I how to play Canasta. From then on canasta was our favorite card game. I learned to play cards at a young age from the Durham sisters as they were always quite the challenge. Our love, thoughts and prayers go out to the family

Aunt Millie was like a second mom to me. Our families did many things together. I remember going fishing, picking berries, playing cards, and many other fond memories. One thing I have always been thankful for was her teaching me to crochet. That's not an easy task when she was right handed and I was left handed. I was the first one of all the children she took to church camp. You are going to be very missed Aunt Millie.

This woman was near and dear to me. She was a wonderful woman and life will not be the same with out her here. Mom was a very giving, helpful and most of all loving parent, grandmother, great grandmother and aunt. She has taught someone something if they knew her. Mom I will miss you until the end of time. Glad that you get to be with Larry again.

I remember eating grama Hubbard's pickled watermelon rinds. She was also one of the most serious card players I've played with.
