To The Family of
James O' Shaughnessy,
I was very sorry to hear that Jim had died. I have also been a long time member of Right to Life and recall that Jim came to Watertown to join me in an interview on Public Television many years ago. I will keep Jim, and all of you, in my prayers.

Our deepest condolences to the family of Jim and Ruth. They always were a great inspiration, funny and so very kind to everyone. We did not know about Ruth's passing last year until we read the paper this week. Both of them will be sadly missed.
Sincerely, Gary and Darlene

I had the privilege of knowing Mr O'Shaughnessy for only a short time. He exuded such a positive and kind spirit. And a love of life, regardless of the circumstances. The love he had for his family was evident. I feel honored to have known him for even a short time. My prayers and condolences to his family. I am sure he will be dearly missed.

So very sorry for your loss. He was a very sweet and kind man. I spoke with him many times after 10:30 Mass at St Mary's and looked forward to every conversation.

We got to know Jim & Ruth as members of St James Church, and Jim and I as members of the Knights of Columbus. I am a Past Grand Knight of Council 5810 and Jim was my Right to Life chairman for the 12 Years I served as Grand Knight. We had many a conversation on the rights of the unborn. We have lost a voice on their behalf and some young people have to step in to fill the void.
We find it humorous that with a name like O'Shaughnessy he was born in Italy . May he rest in peace.
