Sunday, December 12, 2021
So sorry to hear of John’s passing. We visited John and Mary a few years ago along with Bob and Robin McAleese from Watertown NY. He filled us with great stories that day!
My father was Robert Johnson McAleese who grew up in Antwerp NY but lived most of his life in Utica NY. His brother William also lived in Utica. His sister Holley lived in Philadelphia NY. All deceased.
Rest In Peace

To Mary and the rest of the MacAleese family.
Condolences to you all. I worked for and with John for many years at Stebbins. I enjoyed working with him. He always kept things on an even keel and I don't think I ever heard him raise his voice--all though many times he could have! LOL.
He always made traveling with him a great time. He had a nose for terrific restaurants. I'll never forget the one he found in Richmond, Va. Not a culinary haven at that time but he nailed it again--The Tobacco Company!
I learned of Adirondack Manhattans from John and spoke of him when having one a week or so ago. In fact the night we read John's obituary, Julie and I toasted one to John. A great guy leaving us with great memories.
Sorry for everyone's loss,
Bob and Julie Storms
