Grant was my father's first cousin by marriage. Evy's Mother was my Dad's Mother's sister. We spent many family reunions with Grant and Evy and their children Larry and Brenda. I have many fond memories of the fun times we all were together. Grant was a very nice man and was always smiling and having a good time. Say hi to Mom and Dad up there.

Was so sorry to hear of Grant's passing. Evy worked with us in the Indian River Food Service Department and Grant would stop in and see her. He was a loving and devoted husband. As a Department head of Maintenance, he was a jack of all trades and devoted to his job. He helped shape the transition of IRCSD when Fort Drum expanded and the district changed rapidly. We still liked to see Grant stop in for a visit well after he retired.
His passion was teaching new firefighters about how to be the best they could be. He cared so much about his tiny dogs and his woodworking skills were incredible.
He is with God and Evy now. Rest in Peace, Grant. Sending prayers of comfort and strength to you, Linda and Larry.

Grant had taught many of the fire classes that I participated in my early years of the fire service.
He was a wise and kind man.
