GOUVERNEUR – Anne Marie Shampine, age 63, passed away on February 14, 2021.
Anne was born on July 31, 1957, the fourth of nine children born to Paul T. and Eloise (Raven) Emrich.
She married Vance W. Shampine on September 28, 1975. Anne worked as an L.P.N. at Claxton-Hepburn Hospital and as a T.A. for St. Lawrence-Lewis BOCES in Ogdensburg for many years.
Anne is survived by her husband, Vance Shampine, her mother, Eloise Emrich, her two children, Daniel Shampine and Jennifer Shampine, and five grandchildren who she was very proud of, Hilliary, Kaylin, Tracey, Garrett, and Rhealyn. She is also survived by her four brothers and four sisters.
Her burial will be private. Arrangements are with French Funeral Home in Gouverneur. Condolences may be shared online at www.frenchfuneralhomes.com.
