I was a BOCES speech therapist assigned to the Indian River School District. Mr. Zygadlo was the superintendent during my first few years there. He was very supportive of the speech program in the district and showed genuine interest in our activities when he was visiting the schools. Please accept my condolences.

My condolences to Toni and the rest of the Zygadlo family. Hank hired me to teach at Indian River 30 years ago, and my interview with him was funny and pleasant. He always made people feel relaxed. He was a truly good person who will be missed.

So sorry to hear of Henry’s passing. Our family got to know Henry at Samaritan Keep home where our mother resides. Our first memory of him was watching him sketching pictures and as time went on, seeing him reading newspapers and books. Conversations with Henry were always interesting and informative. He had a very caring and compassionate heart. My dad would spend hours at the nursing home with my mom. Henry would bring him books to read. He always lent a caring, listening ear. We send our condolences to his family and want you to know that Henry touched our lives with his kindness.

What a peaceful man. He was so full of knowledge and enjoyed having a conversation. When you ended a conversation with him you felt so empowered. Mr Zygadlo hired me at Indian River where I started my 27 year career in education. He gave me a chance to fulfill my dream. Thank you Mr. Zygadlo you made my dreams come true.
