My condolences to Randy's family. All my memories of Randy are that he was such a nice man. He knew I loved fiddleheads and morel mushrooms, and would show up at my door with a bag of them in the springtime while he was still able to walk through the woods. The village kids just loved him, and he seemed to have infinite patience with them. He was a Village institution, who knew every underground drainage line and exactly where they could be found. We all shall miss him.
