Bob and Joan Howe were and still are a huge part of our family. They were always there in times of joy, of celebration and also the times of sadness. We were neighbors, friends and most important, support for each other. Mom and Joan talked about everything, especially raising children. Bob and Dad went way back to high school with numerous stories to tell. The kids were in 4-H together. My three sisters probably did most of the babysitting at the Howe home on the Spragueville Road. We all know the life is precious and fleeting. That does not lessen the sadness when very special friends pass on. Joan and Bob Howe are very special to us.
