PHILADELPHIA- William "Mack" M. Fuller, age 73, of Philadelphia, passed away on Thursday, April 18, 2013 at his home under the loving care of his family and Jefferson County Hospice.
Calling hours for Mack will be on Saturday, April 20, 2013 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. with his funeral service immediately following at 2:00 p.m. at French Funeral Home, Gouverneur. Burial will follow at Hermon Cemetery. Online condolences may be sent online to www.frenchfuneralhomes.com.
Mack was born on May 31, 1939 in Gouverneur to the late Howard E. and Doris M. (McIntyre) Fuller. He attended Gouverneur Central School. Mack married Sylvia (Carpenter) Tuttle on June 18, 1988 in Richville, NY. A previous marriage ended in divorce.
Mack worked as a meat cutter for 26 years from 1974 until 2000 for Totem Market and P&C. He had previously worked at International Talc from August 8, 1958 until May 5, 1974. Mack was an avid New York Yankee fan and was also an avid bowler and a member of the Silver Sands Hunting Club. He enjoyed helping out at his wife's antique shop visiting with people. He also enjoyed camping, riding his trike, polishing his truck and playing his guitar.
Mack is survived by his wife, Sylvia of Philadelphia; a son and his wife, Howard and Cindy Fuller of Gouverneur; two daughters, Bonnie and Stewart Walker of Gouverneur and Brenda Hyde and her companion Rodney Tebo of Star Lake; three step sons, Timothy and Kellie Tuttle of Rensselaer Falls, Russell and Cindy Tuttle of Potsdam and Alan Tuttle and his companion Dennis Huffman of Lewes, Delaware; a sister, Beverly M. Reed of Gouverneur; 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Mack is predeceased by his parents and one grandchild.
