frances rohde was my neighbor and idol when i was growing up. he was my best friend's dad. he never raised his voice, used foul language, or called his family names when angry. i doubt he ever raised his voice in anger to anyone. he and laura taught me what marriage was supposed to be. their long lasting relationship stands alone in my memory as a true union in the lord. i am so grateful to have known francis . he was and always will be an inspiration . rest in peace dear, dear mr. rohde. love sherrill lang.

A truly good man like Francis brings about so many wonderful and special memories of times spent with him. There are so many great and special adjectives to describe him and he deserves each and all of them. My thoughts and hugs to you Laura as I know what a special husband and partner in your life he has been. I can only imagine what a wonderful Dad, grandpa and family man he always was and I hope all of you know how highly and well thought of Francis always was. My thoughts and my prayers are with all of you now and I will treasure all of the very special memories.

Francis was a dear friend and mentor. My heart grieves. His smile, his infectious laugh, his love for his dear Lora, family and friends, was given without selfishness. He will be terribly missed by all whose lives he touched. You are truly in the Lord's Kingdom.

Francis was a long time member of his local LIONS CLUB and I got to meet him and communicate with his for many years. Always found Francis to be a kind & gentle man who never had a bad word to say about anyone. He will be sorely missed by his family & friends, and all those who had the opportunity to meet him, came away all the better because that was the way Francis was. God Bless Francis.

Sorry to hear about the loss of Francis. He was a great guy. I remeber working the sr. citizen lunches back at the star lake campus and Francis always had a smile on his face and he would put a smile on your face. He will be greatly missed.
