Many an evenings were spent sitting on the Main street in the park, hanging out in Palm's or at the lake. We always had a lot of fun!
You will be missed! A wonderful guy! A great mechanic! He was an honest, good man.
He will be hanging out on Main St in heaven with Benji, just waiting for everyone to get there!
RIP my old friend. Party on!!

I spent most of my youth in the late 50s and early 60s with Jay in South Russell. He owned a 1957 chevy convertible that he would drive up and down the roads on his parents property because he was not old enough to have a drivers license. Even back then he loved mechanical devices and would terrify the grown ups by turning off the ignition while driving the car and then turning it back on causing it to backfire and make everyone jump just as he went by the house.
Jay was offered a congressional appointment to Annapolis Naval Academy because of his academic ability but turned it down to pursue Auto Mechanics (his first love) at Canton, ATC.
I never in my life of all the years that i knew Jay, saw him in a bad mood. Always smiling and enjoying life:)

My father taught jay in high school and he also worked for my dad on our farm. He also babysat us when we were really young. He would have been here for thanksgiving again as he has for numerous recent years. He was the best storyteller I’ve ever met; my god he could make us laugh. His wheeler-dealer stories will not be forgotten. I’m glad we were able to hit red lobster with you a couple months ago. He will be missed but remembered with a smile.

Marv, many great memories of all the fun and laughs over the years, running around at your parents, with Snake and the bird calling him. Lots of laughs and stories at G&R, the mud bogs, the races, many "movie nights and wings" with Cindy and I, what a guy, what a pile of memories, we all will miss you greatly, but we all will smile and laugh our asses off from the stories we all can tell. RIP, Love Ya Brother , Jerz & Cindy
