PHILADELPHIA - Patricia V. Klock, age 74, of Philadelphia, passed away surrounded by her family on February 15, 2013 at Mercy of Northern New York, in Watertown.
There will be a memorial service at the Grace Community Church in Theresa on Saturday, February 23, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be private at the Childs Falls Sunrise Cemetery in Philadelphia. Arrangements have been entrusted to French Funeral Home, Gouverneur.
Patricia V. Klock was born on June 16, 1938 in Gouverneur, NY to Charles H. and Juanita G. (Cole) Kerr. She attended Edwards and Clifton-Fine Central School.
Patricia married Frederick V. Klock on June 17, 1956. Frederick passed away on July 21, 2007. Patricia was a waitress at Longway's Diner for about 7 years. She was also a cook at Ft. Drum where she cooked the breakfast and lunches. For many years she took in borders and foster children. Patricia was a member of the Grace Community Church in Theresa, a member of the Red Hats, Tops, and a former trustee of the CAPC, Philadelphia American Legion Ladies Auxillary and the Philadelphia Ladies Fireman Auxillary. She enjoyed walking, reading, knitting, and gardening and was very active in her church. Patricia was a founding member of the Indian River Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School and founded and ran the food pantry.
Patricia is survived by a son Jeffrey and Patti Klock of Philadelphia, NY; two daughters, Deborah LaMora of Philadelphia, NY and Bernadette and Thomas Spicer of Jena, LA; two brothers, Charles Gaylord and Clarine Kerr of Aldridge and Carlton and Eva Kerr of Oswegatchie; a sister, Lolalane and Douglas Harper of Rockville, CT; nine grandchildren, April Ward, Jennifer Ray, Jeffrey Klock, Rodney, Jesse and Cale LaMora and Dylan, Hannah and Casey Spicer; 11 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She is predeceased by a son-in-law, Rodney LaMora; a brother, Brent Kerr and a sister Sandra Arquette.
