SYRACUSE- Rosemarie Ann Oelschlager, age 73, of Syracuse, NY and formerly of Russell and Bay Shore, NY, passed away on Saturday, February 09, 2013 surrounded by her family. Her husband, Louis, of 39 years predeceased her in 1997.

Her survivors include her children, LouAnn Christo and Craig Fox of Syracuse, Louis and Robin Oelschlager of Russell, Eric and Christine Oelschlager of Lake Worth, FL, Ena and Todd Minnick of Clifton Park and Vera and Derek Power of Syracuse; grandchildren, Darcy, Casey, Kelsey, Aine, Texas, Faith and Zoe; her sister, Jane Kittie Gauthier of Cardinal, ON and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews all of whom she will look after.

Rosemarie is predeceased by her parents, Harold and Jesse (Wick) Adams Sr.; her brother, Harold Adams Jr.; and her sister, Betty Lou.

Rosemarie retired from St. Lawrence University after many years in the food service. She enjoyed many years bowling in the Edwards Bowling League, spending time on the St. Lawrence River on her husbands' boat and saved her money to travel to places including; Ireland, England, France, Venezuela, Barbados, Dominican Republic and St. Martens. Rosie's home was always open to friends and family.

Calling hours will be on Tuesday, February 12, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at French Funeral Home, Edwards. Her funeral mass will be on Wednesday, February 13th at 10:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edwards. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Edwards.
