My condolences, Mrs. Howe. Many happy memories be with you and your loved ones. And I hope that these promises from Jehovah God will bring you comfort and strength to endure. “Do not be anxious….but in everything by prayer and supplication along with thanksgiving, let your petitions be made known to God; and the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and your mental powers by means of Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:6-7; Isaiah 25:8 NWT.

con't The best testament to him was his temperament. Rather than risk severi ng a relationship, he would take an alternate route.. Robert Howe was a true gentleman and a very faithful christian.
Above all, he loved Joan and his boys. The tri-county has lost one of it's most illustrious sons
Even though he lived a very long and extremely fruitful life, his death causes great pain and we again offer our sympathy.
Sincerely, The Leader Family

Dear Joan: Personally and on behalf of our whole family we offer are heart felt condolences on Bob's passing From our first meeting ,in connection with his parents estate it was clear he was of superior intellect.
What was unusual in an individual was his unassuming disposition. Outstanding education,, an officer in the US military, proud and successful service, honored by his fellow citizens , repeatedly, as Councilman, Judge and elected to his Board of Education. With all that , you would never know it.
Bob was on a different plane then those with outstanding accomplishments. He knew what he could do and did not need to talk about it.
He was head and shoulders above our contemporaries. Bill Farley, to his credit recognized it. It was Bob who Bill depended on t straighten out the document crush in Bill's numerous enterprises.

Bob has been a constant and positive person in my life. Our family moved to Barnes Street in Gouverneur the same year as Bob and Joan and they helped make this a nice neighborhood. Friendly conversations, simple waves from the car, and of course the seemingly endless supply from Bob's garden will greatly be missed. Life will be different without him.

We were so deeply saddened to hear of Bob’s passing. As next door neighbors to Bob and Joan, we have shared the desire to keep our properties attractive and safe and Bob always assisted us with this. We have shared regular “over the fence” conversations and we have found it comforting just seeing him out working in the garden, reading a book on his patio, or driving his red car around as part of his regular routines. We shall greatly miss him! We send our sincere condolences to Joan and the entire family.
