Obituary of Barbara G. Cole

FINE- Barbara G. Cole, age 76, of Fine, NY passed away unexpectedly at her home on Thursday, September 7, 2017. There will be calling hours for Barbara on Tuesday, September 12, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at French Family Funeral Home in Star Lake. Her funeral service will immediately follow at the funeral home at 3:00 p.m. with Deacon Philip Giardino officiating. Burial will follow at St. Hubert Cemetery in Star Lake. Condolences may be shared online at www.frenchfuneralhomes.com. Barbara was born on December 23, 1940 in Star Lake, NY to Clifford and Marion (LaTray) Janack. She graduated from Clifton-Fine School. She married Glen Adams Jr. He passed away. Then, she married Gardner Cole in 1972 and that marriage ended in divorce. Barbara had worked as a cable maker for IBM in North Carolina and then she became a homemaker, raising her family. She enjoyed doing cross word puzzles, watching movies, playing solitaire, she loved horses and collecting wolf figurines. Surviving is her son, Clifford Cole of Fine; four step sons, Charles Cole of Pitcairn, Chris Cole of North Carolina, Tracy Cole of Rosedale and Scott Cole of Ogdensburg; a brother Roger Janack of Star Lake; three sisters, Nancy Moskal of Richville, Ronda Perfetti of Johnstown and Caroline Foster of Willow Springs, NC; 15 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Barbara is predeceased by a step son, Gregg Cole; a brother, Kenneth Janack and a sister, Jaqueline Marsh.
