Obituary of Allen Karl Brown

OGDENSBURG – Allen Karl Brown, age 23, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, March 20, 2017 at the Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center in Ogdensburg. Calling hours will be held at French Funeral Home in Gouverneur on Saturday, March 25, 2017 from 12:00 – 3:00 p.m. His funeral service will immediately follow at 3:00 p.m. with Dr. Donald Schuessler officiating. Allen was born on July 14, 1993 in Gouverneur to Kerry and Laurie (McIntosh) Brown. He graduated from the Heuvelton Central School in 2011. Allen worked as an installer and repairman for Dish Network and as a skidder operator for Seaway Timber. He enjoyed playing video games, fishing, target shooting and four-wheeling. His survivors include his parents, Kerry and Laurie Brown; his daughter, Amelia Brown; a brother and sister-in-law, Lance Brown and Colleen Overdorf; paternal grandmother, Barbara Brown; and maternal grandparents, Robert and Esther McIntosh.
