Every once in a rare while as we meander through this life, we might just be rewarded in knowing a truly unique personage. "Katie" was one such very special human being. How very much I envied her energy, spirit and always friendly demeanor. It was my privilege to have known her, and, I can only imagine the void her passing will leave for her family and of course my Masonic Brother Wallace. You all were blessed to call her your own, and now she resides with our Heavenly Father, who I pray will comfort you and ease the pain of her loss. R.I.P. "Katie"

Every June I would receive a hand written invitation from Aunt Katie for the Moore family reunion. Upon arrival at her home, I would malrvel at all of her beautiful flowers, many of which she grew from seed. Most especially, I would love her energetic and joyous smile and conversation. A very special person who cared about those around her and who will be missed. Love to you Aunt Katie.

I was very sorry to hear of Katie's passing. I had only met her a few times with Uncle Wallace. They seemed very happy together and made a cute couple. So glad they had a brief but happy times together up north and in Florida. My sympathy to her entire family.

To all (especially DJ and Mr. Hurlbut whom we do know) cherish your fondest memories. You are and will be in our thoughts and prayers. Katie was one fantastic nurse! It was a wonderful opportunity for me to work under her direction. She not only supervised...she assisted. Katie's positive attitude, her compassion, her respect and acceptance of everyone ,her contagious smile, and her wealth of knowledge made her a joy to be around. I know I will cherish my memories of her.
