I had the opportunity to express condolences to Alice and Mitchell on the phone last evening, but wanted to tell Merry and Michael how very sorry I am to hear of your dad's passing. He and Grandma Winnie were a significant part of my life growing up, and Uncle Al was always a kind and thoughtful man. My heart broke for him when your mom passed; may we all take peace in the belief that he is now with his beloved Martha.
