Obituary of Cheryl H. Meserve

EDWARDS - Cheryl Harriet Meserve, age 68, died of natural causes on March 28, 2016, at the Claxton-Hepburn Hospital, in Ogdensburg, NY with her family by her side. Cheryl is survived by her husband, Michael Wayne Meserve, of Edwards, NY; her daughter Megan Noelle Berry, of Tammworth, NH; her son Christopher Michael Meserve, of Ansbach, Germany; and her son Matthew Wayne Meserve, of Tipp City Ohio. She preceded in death her 8 brothers and sisters, and her parents Elmer Haley and Evelyn Haley, of Conway, NH. Cheryl was born on May 17, 1947 in Conway, NH, to parents Elmer and Evelyn Haley. She graduated from Kennett High School in Conway, NH with a degree in Social Sciences. She married her soul mate Michael W. Meserve in 1965 and the couple had 3 children together. She was the proud Grandmother of 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Cheryl was a social, active woman who was deeply involved in traveling for the majority of her life. She was truly a 'Globetrotter' as she has walked on the Great Wall of China, swam in the warm ocean waters of Hawaii, enjoyed the natural beauty of Alaska, toured the ancient ruins of Greece, wandered the halls of the greatest castles in Europe, walked under the Eifel Tower and experienced the splendors of Prague, Switzerland, England, Holland and many others. She enjoyed reading, playing board games, and anything that involved her grandchildren. Her family and friends will always remember her as a warm-hearted person who would always do anything for you…. And ask nothing in return. Visiting hours are scheduled for Sunday on April 3, 2016, at 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Furber and White Funeral Home in North Conway, New Hampshire. Funeral Services will be on Monday April 4, 2016 at 2:00 p.m., with the Rev. William b. Rose, Jr., officiating, with a reception to follow at Fred and Jo-Ann Haley's home at 725 White Mtn. Highway, in Tamworth. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Cheryl's life. The family would like to thank Beverly and Fred for their incredible support during this difficult time.
