EDWARDS – Goldie S. Zeller, age 72, formerly of Edwards, passed away on January 14, 2016 at her daughter's home in Kaukauna, WI under Hospice.

Calling hours will be French Funeral Home, Edwards on Thursday, January 21st from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Her funeral service will be at the funeral home on Friday, January 22nd at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Beth Benham officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery, Edwards. Condolences may be shared online at www.frenchfuneralhomes.com.

Goldie was born on March 16, 1943 in Edwards to the late Merrill A. Shore and Ruth A. Davis. She graduated from the Edwards Central School in 1960 and from C.C.B.I. in Syracuse in 1961.

Goldie married Frederick G. Zeller on June 19, 1965 in the Edwards United Methodist Church. Fred passed away on June 30, 1993. Mrs. Zeller worked for many years as a secretary. She began her career at Potsdam State University, working for Dr. Hosmer; then went on to work for the Canton A.T.C. Black River-St. Lawrence Economic Development. Goldie also worked as a chef and waitress for Bonnie Diner in Fowler and for Michelle's Kitchen in Edwards.

Goldie loved to bowl and to spend time with her friends and family. Upon moving to Wisconsin in 1997 she became quite a Green Bay Packers fan and watched many games in person and feeling the excitement.

Her survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Therri D. and Wayne Pike of Kaukauna, WI; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Chad F. Zeller of Potsdam, Matthew A. and Angie Zeller of Kaukauna, WI; and a brother-in-law, Robert Given. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, Josh, Sierra, Kendyl, and Kolbe Pike, and Hunter, Kylee, Ryan Zeller and Mindy.

She is predeceased by her parents; her sister, Marilyn Given; and twin brothers who died at birth.
