RUSSELL – Helen I. Dana, age 83, of Russell, passed away on January 11, 2016 at the Clifton-Fine Hospital and Long Term Care where she has resided for several years.

Helen was born on October 5, 1932 in East Pitcairn to the late Milton and Velma (McRobbie) Jackson. She married Marvin L. Dana on September 1, 1950 in the Edwards Methodist Parsonage. Marvin passed away on October 1, 2009.
Helen worked as a nurse's aid for 20 years; first at Barlow's Nursing Home then the Moon Gate Nursing Home, both in Canton. She enjoyed bowling, playing bingo and traveling.
Mrs. Dana is survived by a son, Marvin "Jay" Dana of Fowler; two brothers, Donald and Robert Jackson; and a sister, Beth Matice.
She is predeceased by her husband; a son, Lyle Dana; brothers, Kenneth, Milton, Larry, and Orly Jackson; and a sister, Gloria Peabody.
