Obituary of Maurine E. McKenney

CRANBERRY LAKE – Maurine E. McKenney, age 82, of Cranberry Lake, passed away on Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at the Country Manor Nursing Home in Carthage.
Calling hours will be held at French Family Funeral Home, Star Lake, on Friday, September 4, 2015 from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. Her funeral service will be held on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at St. Hubert's Catholic Church. Burial will follow in the Cranberry Lake Cemetery followed by a reception at the Cranberry Lake Fire Department.
Maurine was born on March 27, 1933 in Canton to the late Roy and Leida (Barclay) Fadden. She married Clarence "Bob" McKenney on August 21, 1948 at St. Hubert's Catholic Church in Star Lake. Bob passed away on December 1, 2004.
Mrs. McKenney was a homemaker who enjoyed reading and playing Bingo. Time spent with her family was very important to her.
Her survivors include two daughters, Vicki Sellers of Star Lake; Sandra and James Rice of Fine; three sisters, Marlene Coburn of Florida, Bernice Belile of Massena and Shirley Robbins of Newark; and a daughter-in-law, Laura McKenney. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Maurine is predeceased by her parents; her husband; a son, Patrick McKenney; two brothers, James and Donald Fadden; and two sisters, Muriel Hennigan and Carol Premo.
