Obituary of Linda Mae Sherman

GOUVERNEUR – Linda Mae Sherman, age 54, of Gouverneur, passed away on August 14, 2015 at the Jefferson County Hospice Residence. There will be a Celebration of Life held at the home of her father, Kenneth Filiatrault, 2B Scotch Settlement Rd, Gouverneur NY on Saturday, August 29, 2015 starting at 10:00 a.m. Arrangements are with French Funeral Home, Gouverneur. Linda was born on May 16, 1961 in Gouverneur to Kenneth C. Filiatrault and the late Beatrice M. (Jefferson) Filiatrault. She graduated from the Gouverneur High School and has worked for ProAct of Kinney Drugs for several years as a customer service representative. She married Ronald Sherman on July 10, 1993 at the home of Jessie and Steve Alguire. Linda loved time spent with family and friends and especially enjoyed her grandchildren. She enjoyed baking cakes and days at Hickory Lake. Her survivors include her father, Kenneth Filiatrault; her husband, Ronald Sherman; sons, Donald McIntosh and his companion, Liza Bowman, Aric and Alex McIntosh; daughters, Heidi McIntosh and Angel Sherman; sister, Jessie and Steven Alguire; and brothers, Percy and Karen Filiatrault and Jeffrey and Debra Filiatrault. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, Trystan, Bryanna, Madison, Landen, Abby, Raeleigh, Alanna, Sebastian, Jackson, Alicia, Jesse, Annie and Trenton. Linda is predeceased by her mother, Beatrice Filiatrault and a son, Bobby Sherman. Donations in memory of Linda may be made to a charity of one's choice.
