Madison Howard Nelson Roberts; March 13, 1998 - October 29, 2012.

GOUVERNEUR - Madison Howard Nelson Roberts, age 14, passed away on Monday, October 29, 2012, at the Upstate Golisano Children's Hospital in Syracuse.

Madison was born on March 13, 1998 in Syracuse, the son of Derrick N. and Amber N. (Whitford) Roberts. In addition to his parents, Madison is survived by his sister, Gabriella Ann June Roberts; his paternal grandparents, Douglas E. and Connie J. Roberts; his maternal grandparents, Billy H. and Cynthia A. Whitford; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Madison loved listening to his Sissy sing songs and read stories to him, as well as playing video games with his Daddy. He also loved cooking and sewing quilts with Mommy on "Fred", the name of Mom's sewing machine. Madison took great pleasure in going to Nana and Grandpapa's house for cookouts and picking prickers in the lawn with Grandpapa; taking long rides on Grandma and Grandpa Roberts' pontoon boat; and going fishing.

A private family service was held for Madison. In his memory, donations may be made to the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), Upstate Golisano Children's Hospital, 750 East Adams Street, CAB Room 326, Syracuse, New York 13210
