GOUVERNEUR - Kenneth D. Peck, age 82, of Gouverneur, passed away on Sunday evening, October 21, 2012 at the Samaritan Medical Center, Watertown.

Kenneth was born on August 12, 1930 in Gouverneur to the late John W. and Gertrude (Lake) Peck. He attended the Gouverneur High School and worked as a machine operator and truck driver for Gouverneur Talc for 34 years.

Ken married Ruth Crary on August 12, 1949. She passed away on June 26, 1985. Ken married Barbara Gonyea Streeter on December 31, 1987.

His survivors include his wife, Barbara Peck of Gouverneur; two sons, Gary Peck of Syracuse, Gregory Peck of Gouverneur; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He is predeceased by his parents; a son, Jerry Peck; his sister, Louella Adams; and his brothers, Kermit and Foster Peck.

His funeral service will be private at French Funeral Home, Gouverneur. Burial will be in the Pleasant Lake Cemetery, Brasie Corners. There will be no calling hours. Condolences may be made online at www.frenchfuneralhomes.com.
