Donna & I want to send condolences to Betty and family. I enjoyed the few times playing golf with Ed. He was a good golfer. We also shared talking of old times since his Uncle was Chief of Police in the village of Ballston Spa. I will miss him. God bless Ed.

Ed played golf in the two man league has long as I can remember. Ed loved to golf and be out there with friends. I have seen ed and harvey golfing in november with tukes and gloves on when there wasn't any snow yet. A lot of memories, like getting stuck under the little roof between six green and seven tee in a thunder and lighting storm during a league match. When lighting hit a tree the other side of three fairway is when dave colton and I decided to head for the club house, but harv and ed stayed out there and rode out the storm, a lot braver then me. My wish is... I hope there is golf in heaven. May god bless!

Ed, a pillar of the community and a great person. Ed was a great asset to St. Hubert's Church and a great asset to the Newton Falls Paper Mill. Not being a golfer, I can't comment on his golf game but I can say he always had a smile on his face. My husband, Dick Blackmer, worked with Ed at the mill and greatly enjoyed working with Ed. My condolences to Betty, Mike and Mark and their families.

Betty and Family,
I am so sorry for your loss. Ed was such a wonderful man, always had a smile on his face and nothing but kind words to say to anyone he met. I first met Ed when I was about 14 while working my summers at the Golf Course he was always ready with a joke and of course his smile. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. If there is anything I can do for you please let me know. You are all in my thoughts and Prayers! May the good Lord Bless You all.
Love,
Janice,and Family
