Obituary of Allen Carl Queor

EDWARDS- Allen Carl Queor, age 66, of Edwards, NY passed away on Thursday, May 01, 2014 at the Veterans Hospital in Syracuse, NY. Allen Carl Queor was born on February 11, 1948 in Barre, VT, a son of the late Barney Carl and June Eunice (Dodds) Queor. He attended the St. Lawrence Central School. Allen married Sharon Ann Belile on August 8, 1970 in Massena. The couple lived in New Jersey and Connecticut before moving to Edwards in the late 1970's. Mr. Queor worked as a newspaper carrier and distributor for the Syracuse Post Standard for many years. He had also worked in research control for the Finder Plant in New Jersey. His survivors include Sharon, his wife of 43 years, a brother; Bernard - Newark, four sisters; Brenda "Poncho" Vasavada - Ogdensburg, Waneta Favreau and Phylinda Gonyou - both of Lyons, and Darlena Keck - Pennsylvania, , and many nieces and nephews including Stacy Belile whom Allen and Sharon took care of when she was young. Allen is predeceased by two brothers, Earl and Barney "Joe"; and two sisters, June "Bunny" Queor and Carol Queor. Calling hours will be on Wednesday, May 7, 2014 from 1:00 until 3:00 p.m. at French Funeral Home, Edwards. His funeral Service will immediately follow at 3:00 pm. at the funeral home. Burial will be at the St. Lawrence Cemetery, North Lawrence, NY. Donations in Allen Queor's memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, Memorial Processing Center, P.O.
