She graduated from Keeseville Central School and then went on to graduate from Canton ATC with a business degree. Judy met her husband of 52 years, Richard H. Whitmarsh, while attending Canton ATC. They married on May 20th, 1961 and settled in Edwards, NY. Judy's professional career started in 1968 working for St. Lawrence County BOCES. In 1974, Judy's priority became raising her family, and during that period she worked part-time from 1977-1979 at the New York State Power Authority. In 1983, Judy's career continued at the Edwards-Knox Central School District working in the CSE Department where she retired in June of 2003. Judy enjoyed walking, crocheting, baking, vacations in the Outer Banks with family and friends, and numerous extracurricular activities associated with the Fowler Baptist Church and the Edwards-Knox Central School. Judy's greatest gift was her loving, nurturing, caring, and giving personality. She touched many lives and was always there in times of need for both her family and friends.
