EDWARDS – Cheryl L. Given, age 61, of Edwards, passed away on December 21, 2024 at her happy place, The Farm.

Calling hours will be held at French Funeral Home in Edwards on Friday, December 27, 2024 from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. Her funeral service will be at the funeral home on Saturday, December 28, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Edwards, in the spring. Cheryl was born on April 4, 1963 in Gouverneur to Robert A. Given and the late Marilyn J. (Shore) Given. She graduated from Edwards Central School in 1982, received her associates in Vet Tech from SUNY Canton and went to NTTS and graduated. Cheryl worked as an Associate for Panara Bread and previously worked for Wilson Farms, drove for DHL and most recently Seniors Helping Seniors. She was also an advocate for Paws for Potter and was affiliated with the German Shepard Rescue of Upstate NY.

Cheryl loved animals. She enjoyed her horses, the animals on the farm, and volunteered for Dr. Roput's Veterinary Clinic, as well as helping out rescuing animals, especially German Shepherds.

She is survived by her father, Robert Given, her better half, Arthur Miller, her sister Robynn, her nieces/nephews and Great nieces/nephews along with her 5 rescue kittens and KK kitten.

Cheryl is predeceased by her mother, Marilyn Given, a sister and 2 brothers-in-law, Marilee and Antonio Daniely and Anton Pennyman, respectfully.
