OSWEGATCHIE- Eva Caroline Kerr, age 87, of Oswegatchie, passed away on December 8, 2024 at her home under the care of her family and hospice.

There will be a graveside service held at Woodland Cemetery in Fine, NY on Saturday, June 7, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. Arrangements are with French Funeral Home, Star Lake. Condolences may be made at www.frenchfuneralhomes.com.

Eva was born on July 6, 1937 in Fine, NY to the late James J. and Ethel B. (Ward) Hubbard. She attended Clifton-Fine Central School. On July 7, 1955, she married Carlton Kerr at the Gouverneur United Methodist Church. Carlton passed away on May 27, 2022. Eva worked as a nurse's aide at the Clifton-Fine Hospital for 20 years. In her spare time, she enjoyed working on cross word puzzles, playing scrabble, knitting, crocheting, camping with her husband, shopping, yard sales, and reading.

Her survivors include her son, Carlton C. Kerr and his companion, Carlene Dowling of Fine and their children (and grandchildren), Denise Kerr, (Miranda, Brandon and Danielle), great-great grandchildren, Manneka and Kingston, Darren Kerr (Darren Patrick and Olivia), Dustin Kerr and Kim (Izaick, Milena, Mikaela, Cameron, Kalle), LeRoy and Cecilia McBroom

(Aleia and Amelia) daughter, Teresa Kerr of Oswegatchie, son Michael Kerr and his companion Gigi Hayden of Oswegatchie and their children (and grandchildren), Heather and Rusty Tuttle, (Alana and Logan) great-great grandchild, Sawyer, Alysa and Ryan (Piper and Rory), Michael, Noah, Connor, Crystal (Nolan and Nolani), Brandon and Liz Hayden (Lillianna), Brady and Sarah Hayden (Elijah and Sophia) and son, Ronald Kerr and his companion, Marlene Farnsworth of Star Lake and their children (and grandchildren), Matthew Kerr (Raven and Luna), Nina and Derek LaPlant (Logan), Burt, and Bobby, a brother, Elisha Hubbard of Fine, and many nieces and nephews.

Eva is predeceased by her husband, Carlton, a brother, James Hubbard and three sisters, Emily Dowling, Goldie Folsom and Geneva Austin.
