GOUVERNEUR- Arthur L. Taylor, age 66, of Gouverneur, NY passed away on Saturday, December 7, 2024 at Gouverneur Hospital.

Arthur was born on November 7, 1958 in Gouverneur, NY to the late Raymond A. and Sylvia (Bowman) Taylor Sr. He attended Gouverneur Central School. On July 25, 1987, he married Crystal Mashaw at the United Christian Church in Richville.

Arthur worked for Hampshire Paper Company as an operator until his retirement in 2015. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, trapping, bird watching, and he especially enjoyed being with his grandchildren.

Surviving is his wife, Crystal; a son, Zachary and Kellie Taylor; two daughters, Tiffany Taylor and her companion Kyle Forte and Bridgette and Curtis Fuller; two brothers, Ronald Taylor and Raymond Taylor; five sisters, Norma Soloff, Mary Lou Simmons, Janet Facey, Gladys Reese and Elva Taylor; eight grandchildren, Cameron, Gaven, Isabella, Nathan, Aubrie, Avery, Lennox and Koa; and several nieces and nephews.

Arthur is predeceased by his parents; six brothers, Theron Bice, Arnold Taylor, Leland Taylor, Wayne Taylor, Leslie "Les" Taylor and Marty Reese; and three sisters, Rosie Prashaw, Vanita Peirce and April Taylor.
