GOUVERNEUR – Keneth Wolf, age 67 years, passed away unexpectedly at his farm in Gouverneur on September 25, 2024.
Born in the city of New York to Joan and Walter Wolf, Ken graduated from St. Francis Preparatory School and attained a degree in Ancient History from Queens City College.
Ken had a lifelong passion for learning. He loved his books, reading the New York Times and meeting new people.
Ken served as a trooper with the New York State Police for twenty years, retiring in 1999.
He married Claire Griffith in 1984. Together they operated the family farm, raising and exhibiting prize winning Corriedale sheep and wool.
Ken enjoyed making hay and supplied many local farmers with square bales. He cared deeply for the farm and the many friends he made there.
His journey here has ended. He will be greatly missed.
