Joe and I started school together and we were best of friends up until they moved to Boulder. I joined the Air Force in February 1967 and ended up at training in Lowery AFB in Denver and got to see him 4 or 5 times while I was stationed there. Joe was a good friend but some times he would get a little distracted. He
dropped me off at Grays island one afternoon and was supposed to return to get me, notice I said ISLAND and he never did but fortunately I did eventually make it home. Joe rest in peace my friend. Rod Jones
