DEGRASSE – Terry D. Daniels, age 72, of DeGrasse, passed away on July 12, 2024 at Upstate Medical University Hospital in Syracuse.

Terry was born on January 29, 1952 at Clifton-Fine Hospital in Star Lake to the late Albert and Marion E. (Hubbard) Daniels. He graduated from Knox Memorial School in 1970 and married Sandra "Sandy" M. Carlin on October 30, 1971 at the Pilgrim Holiness Church in Russell.

Terry worked for the Newton Falls Paper Mill for 30 years on the cutter and in loading before working for NYS DEC for 13 years at the campsite, in the garage, and maintaining trails.

He loved to hunt, watching Westerns such as Gunsmoke and Bonanza, enjoyed local history, and was a member and caretaker of the Skate Creek Hunting Club.

Terry is survived by his wife, Sandy Daniels, two children, Elizabeth and her husband, Ronald Kaiser, Jr. and Rich and his wife, Jennifer Daniels, a sister, Kathy Daniels, and two brothers, Chuck Daniels and John Daniels and his wife, Patty. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, Mariah, Kaleb, Ros, Ronnie, and Ryan, and many nieces and nephews.

He is predeceased by his parents and a sister, Sheila Daniels, who died in infancy.
