Obituary of John D. Bulluck

STAR LAKE- John D. Bulluck, age 75, of Star Lake, NY passed away on Friday, July 5, 2024 at Carthage Area Hospital. There will be calling hours for John on Sunday, July 14, 2024 from 1:00-3:00pm at French Family Funeral Home, Star Lake. The memorial service will be on Monday, July 15th at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Marti Montovani of the Western Adirondack Presbyterian Church officiating. Condolences may be shared online at www.frenchfuneralhomes.com. John was born on May 1, 1949 in Gouverneur, NY to Melford "Johnny" and Florence M. (Vanhousen) Bulluck. He graduated from Clifton-Fine Central School in 1970. John married Hope D. Demmon on September 26, 1970 at the Russell Pilgrim Holiness Church with Rev. Paul Case officiating. John worked for 30 years at the Newton Falls Paper Mill from 1970 until it's closing. Then John worked as a fork lift operator at HDK Wood Products in Harrisville for 7 ½ years. He is a member of the Western Adirondack Presbyterian Church and was also an eagle scout. He enjoys fishing, hunting and boating. John is survived by his wife, Hope of Star Lake; a son, Aaron D. Bulluck of Fonda, NY; a daughter, Lucinda D. Eriksen of St. James, Long Island; two granddaughters, Bree and Chelsea Eriksen and a brother, Paul C. and Debbie Bulluck of Carthage, NY. Donations may be made in John's memory to Western Adirondack Presbyterian Church or to the Star Lake Fire Department.
