GOUVERNEUR- Mark L. Rosenbarker, age 65, of Gouverneur, NY passed away on Friday, June 21, 2024 at Canton Potsdam Hospital.

Mark was born on January 27, 1959 in Gouverneur, NY to the late Keith E. and Wava J. (Dusharm) Rosenbarker. He graduated from Gouverneur Central School in 1977 and then entered into the United States Navy, where he served until his honorable discharge.

Mark worked in HVAC all of his working career. He started out working for Agway, where he worked the majority of his career and then worked for a few other companies before retiring from Aeon Heating in Potsdam. Mark was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating, 4-wheeling and riding motorcycles. He also loved watching westerns.

He is survived by three sons, Jason Grimes, Matthew Rosenbarker and Charles Rosenbarker; two daughters, Jessica and A.J. Elliott and Jessica and Kevin Gantkowski; two brothers, Stephen Rosenbarker and Michael Rosenbarker; two sisters, Karen and Jerry Lancto and Valerie and Todd Daniels; 10 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

There will be a celebration of life for Mark on Thursday, June 27, 2024 at the Gouverneur VFW starting at 4:00 p.m. Arrangements are with French Funeral Home, Gouverneur. Condolences may be shared online at www.frenchfuneralhomes.com.
