My Dad was a man who loved his children, family, and friends, but most importantly his God. The way he lived his life is proof of that and I am proud to be his daughter. I have many fond memories of Dad and will cherish them all but, the ones that will stand out the most are our yearly trips to Virginia to visit my brother Tony. We talked and laughed so much together, which is probably why we always seemed to miss our turn onto Rte 17! It became so probable that eventually we just started to make it a planned part of our trip. It was just a given that we were going to miss that road and of course, it was always my fault! Great times! I'll NEVER forget those trips. It was on those trips that I really got to know my Dad and grew to love and understand him better, and admire him more. I am so glad that I have these trips to Virginia as memories and grateful we became traveling buddies. For now, I will wait patiently until I see him again and we can be traveling buddies again, maybe to Virginia or maybe..... we'll let Mom choose....

Bernie's smiling face and sense of humor will be greatly missed. I grew up next door to him and his family as a child. Later in life I came to know him as a friend. My husband Roger also had the pleasure of knowing him as a customer at our garage. Our hearts go out to his children and families.

Bernie was a true friend of ours. We had the pleasure of seeing him at the convention this past summer. We always wished we could have spent more time with him. We are so sorry for the families loss. Jehovah will no doubt remember him.
