Obituary of Andrew Paul Jandreau

GOUVERNEUR- Andrew Paul Jandreau, age 64, of Gouverneur, NY passed away on Sunday, February 25, 2024 at River Hospital in Alexandria Bay. There will be a celebration of Life for Andrew at a later date. Arrangements are with French Funeral Home, Gouverneur. Condolences may be shared online at www.frenchfuneralhomes.com. Andrew was born on November 14, 1959 to Lloyd and Irene (White) Jandreau. He graduated from Norwood-Norfolk Central School. On July 17, 1992 he married Denise R. DeLong in Jordan, NY. Andrew had worked construction and roofing for Con Tech Construction for ten years before becoming disabled. He was a member of the Bible Baptist Church in Gouverneur. Before becoming disabled, Andrew used to love to hunt and fish. He was often seen with a cup of coffee in his hands, watching television or playing with his grandchildren. He was such a selfless man who would do anything for anyone. Everyone who met him, loved him. Surviving is his wife, Denise; his mother, Irene Jandreau; three sons, Zachary (Traci) Jandreau, Richard Gilbert and Charles Wallis; three daughters, Tanya Deforge, Rachel Shady and Jennie Justiniano; five brothers, his twin William, Lloyd, Mark, Roy and Terry; 13 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Andrew is predeceased by his father, Lloyd Jandreau.
