HERMON - Danny Paul Robinson, age 53, passed away on Saturday, October 12, 2013 at home surrounded by his loving family.
His funeral mass will be on Thursday, October 17, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. in St. Mary's Catholic Church in Canton. Funeral arrangements are with French Funeral Home, Edwards. Condolences may be made online at www.frenchfuneralhomes.com.
Danny was born on February 24, 1960 in Gouverneur to the late Mernie E. and Alice E. (Warren) Robinson. He graduated from Knox Memorial High School in Russell and briefly served in the United States Navy.
Danny was a licensed cosmetologist, worked as a corrections officer in Ogdensburg for nine years and worked construction in Florida over the past twenty years. He loved nature and the great outdoors.
He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Sean and Gudrun Robinson of Texas; daughter and son-in-law, Tomi Lynn and Gabriel Rapisardi of Norfolk, VA; a sister and brother-in-law, Kathy and Ed Carpenter of Hermon; and two brothers and sisters-in-law, Tom and Anna Robinson and Mernie and Lori Robinson of Oak Harbor, WA. He is also survived by long-time friends, Harry, Dawn and Nick Demperio of Sarasota, FL; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
