We began our friendship 20 plus years ago. It all began with our children’s sports and cub scouts. We have so many beautiful memories, so much fun and laughter shared. The Turners became part of our family, sharing holidays, vacations and game nights together. Whenever, I needed help you were always there to lend an ear and support in anyway, a true friend. Amy had a deep love for games and always had a deck of cards with her. Amy loved and adored her family. FAMILY always came first. We are grateful she considered us part of her family. Amy will truly be missed but she will forever be in our hearts. This poem is for you my friend.
I am the warmth from the sun touching you
I am the splash of water as you cruise on by
I am in the sand as you walk on the beach
I am in the game you are winning
I am in the wind as you ride in the open air
Love you,
Kelley and Bob

My thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends. I will always remember our times together in FFA. She was so kind and fun to be around. I always remember traveling to the State Convention together and visiting with her and her telling me about Barry. Then I was very excited to find out we would be coworkers at Kraft. She was always willing to help me with any questions I had. I remember when she came back from a cruise and she was so excited to show us pictures and tell us about it.

It will not hurt you. For the light in your heart still shines bright." Rumi
We have had the honor of sharing over thirty years with the Turners. So many days of laughter, joy and smiles.
The family Amy and Barry created has always been excepting and embracing of all they met. They are a huge part of our family minus the DNA.
Sister, you will forever be present with us as your "heart" lives in your husband, children and grandchildren.

Amy first came into my life 8 years ago and there was never a dull moment when I saw her. She always made me laugh and was the best partner to have in a card game or cranium! I’ll never forget “I steal picnic baskets!” because I could not control myself I was laughing so hard. Aside from playing cards and games, Amy was very kind to me and to others she was close with. She never forgot to wish me a happy birthday or asked how my family was doing. It meant a lot to know that she cared about me and my life. She will definitely be missed but the memories will not be forgotten. Rest in Peace Amy, love you! -Lee

Amy, in 1982, signed up to receive a foreing student, perhaps to experience having a brother or sister. She didn't tell her parents until they had to sign the documents, but they acepted the idea.
It was only for 3 months but it was very intense ( we fougth and play like real sisters) and we kept in touch for the last 40 years, visiting each other. I am grateful to meet people that I Love and I call family.
I hope you are in a great place.
I will always Love and remember you as a Sister.

Amy and I became friends when she was an aide in my classroom at Edwards-Knox. She had a wonderful rapport with the students, very kind and empathetic. She was very in tune to their individual needs and always found a way to reach them and lead them to success. Amy was so proud of her children and talked about them frequently, and her love for her husband was very apparent too. I am thinking of all of you and keeping you in my prayers.
