Obituary of Rachel L. LaFlair

TUPPER LAKE – Rachel L. LaFlair, age 38, of Tupper Lake, passed away on July 22, 2023. There will be no services. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are with French Funeral Home in Edwards. Condolences may be shared online at www.frenchfuneralhomes.com. Rachel was born on October 14, 1984 in Jacksonville, AR to Janet L. (Neal) Fifield and raised by her and her husband, Richard Fifield, Jr. She graduated from Lisbon Central School in 2002 and had worked at Walmart in Ogdensburg before working for Sunmount in Tupper Lake as a Direct Support Professional. Rachel was an animal lover who enjoyed crocheting and gardening. She was an adventurous person who loved spending time with her family and friends and was a true force to be reckoned with. She is survived by her parents, Janet and Richard Fifield, her three daughters, Mariah Burnett and her fiancé, Nick Bowman, Mackenzie Burnett, and Jordis Joanette and her boyfriend, Chase Lewis, her granddaughter, Grace Elizabeth Lynn Bowman, her partner, Ethan LaQuay, and brothers, Joshua A. LaFlair, Casey G. Fifield and his wife, Alexsandra, and Shane Bell. She is also survived by her uncle, Dana LaFlair and his fiancé, Michelle Martin, nephews, Matt and Zack LaFlair, and several cousins, and her 3 dogs and 6 cats. Rachel is predeceased by her grandfather, Richard A. LaFlair, and an uncle, Richard L. LaFlair. In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Rachel may be made to an Animal Shelter of your choice.
