GOUVERNEUR - Calvin N. Richardson "Cal", age 67, of 106 North Gordon Street, Gouverneur NY, passed away on October 2, 2013 at his home of 42 years.

Born on December 1, 1945 in Gouverneur NY, he was the son of Rose and Nilie Richardson. He graduated from the Ogdensburg Free Academy in 1964.

Calvin was a self-proprietor of several family businesses. Most notably, KC's Restaurant and Richardson's Flooring located in Gouverneur.

He married Suzanne Barr on June 5, 1965 at the St. James Catholic Church in Gouverneur. He enjoyed carpentry and gardening.

Among his survivors are his wife of 48 years, Suzanne Richardson of Gouverneur; three sons and their wives, Jack Richardson of Gouverneur, Tim and Amanda Richardson of Gouverneur, Ken and April Richardson of Gouverneur and 5 grandchildren, Zachary, Natasha, Brittany, Nathan and Nilie.

He is also survived by two brothers, Curtis Richardson of Durham, NC, Cody Richardson of Ogdensburg; and two sisters, Ellen Weir of Heuvelton and Virginia Westcott of Lisbon.
