Obituary of Ronald Watson

GOUVERNEUR - Ronald Charles Barette Watson, Sr., age 39, of Gouverneur died on Thursday, September 20, 2012 after an accident at work. There will be a calling hour at French Funeral Home, Gouverneur on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. immediately followed by his funeral service at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Orville Eacker officiating. Condolences may be made online at www.frenchfuneralhomes.com. Ron was born on July 3, 1973 in Rochester to Clarence Watson, Sr., who survives him, and the late Joyce (House) Terry. Ron attended school in Gouverneur and married Barbara Anne (Boshane) Lashbrooks on September 13, 2008. Mr. Watson had been working for Ryan's Tree Service in Theresa as a grounds foreman and equipment operator. Everything about Ron's life revolved around his wife and children. He also enjoyed riding motorcycle and hunting. His survivors include his wife, Barbara Watson; his father, Clarence Watson, Sr.; nine children, Ronald Watson, Jr., Shawn Watson, Brittney Watson, Christopher Watson, Brent Watson, Harley Watson, Jared McDougal, Jake McDougal, Eathan Miller; two step-children, Darryl Boshane and Becky Lashbrooks; and five grandchildren. He is also survived by two sisters, Crystal Watson Petrie, Esther Watson; three brothers, Eugene, Frank, and Clarence Watson, Jr.; and several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his mother and a step-son, Michael Boshane.
