PITCAIRN – Lawrence "Larry" John McIntosh, age 65, of Pitcairn, passed away on February 17, 2016 at the Carthage Area Hospital. There will be a graveside service on Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the Fullerville Cemetery. Arrangements are with French Funeral Home, Edwards. Condolences may be shared online at www.frenchfuneralhomes.com. Larry was born on February 4, 1951 in Gouverneur to Margaret (Rice) McIntosh and the late Theodore McIntosh. He graduated from the Hermon-DeKalb Central School and enjoyed fishing and hunting. Larry had worked for Agway in Edwards, for the Marian Foods canning factory in Palmyra, and as a meat processor for Wal-Mart in Macedon. He lived in Palmyra for 37 years before returning to the North Country this past January. His survivors include his mother, Margaret McIntosh and five brothers, Cornelius and Loretta Rice, James, David and Eileen, Peter, and Douglas and Christine McIntosh; and his many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his father, Theodore McIntosh and a brother, Steven McIntosh.
