I am so very sorry for your loss as Shelley was such a kindhearted person, who was always willing to help others. She gave life, joy, and much light to the offices, staff, and within the whole agency at SLPC. She was seen as a close and dear friend to many here and will be greatly missed by all! I know I speak for all who knew her by saying she will always be remembered and will always hold a place in our hearts! My heart goes out to her family, all her dear friends, and those her knew her. What beautiful words you wrote to describe this amazing woman. Although I did not know Shelley well, I had called upon her many times to fix this or that. She was always helpful in whatever I asked of her. I wish I had known her as it seems many of you did, she sounded like someone I would want as a friend. My thoughts are with all of you at this time, so very sorry for the loss of this special person.

There really are no words to describe the sadness felt by Shelley's sudden passing . I had the pleasure of working with Shelley for the past 10 years. She had so much knowledge and cared deeply about her work and helping others. She was definitely a guru! I miss our talks and all the stories she told about her time with family. Her eyes would light up and her smile widen when she talked about her children and grandchildren. She was so proud of all of them. Rest in peace Shelley. I am beyond thankful to have been part of your life and I miss you dearly. Until we meet again...

Our thoughts and prayers to Shelley's family, friends and co-workers. I had the pleasure of working with Shelley off and on over the past ten years. She was the "guru" of the time office at SLPC and I leaned on her heavily when in need of direction. She waded through a ton of paperwork each and every day trying to interpret all of our chicken scratches and ensure we were properly compensated. She never complained, at least not out loud, and she definitely had more than enough reasons to do so. Even when I worked for other locations in the state over the years, I still would shoot her an email or give her a call and she always responded in kind. Stacie and I enjoyed chatting with her at camp up to Lisbon beach. She simply was a joy to be around in/out of work. We will miss her dearly. Godspeed Shelley.

I was fortunate to get to know Shelley during our time working at SLPC. Our assignments offered an opportunity for us to meet daily. The highlight of my morning routine included a daily check-in with Shelley, when we shared our thoughts and stories, and helped to resolve each other's conflicts. I will forever cherish our bond and her infectious laugh. She set the standard for warmth and kindness in a friend. ❤️ She will always be missed.

Shelly, you were a beam of sunshine.. we became fast friends when we began working together... so lucky to have had you come into my life! We went our separate ways, but you always remained a special friend. My heart goes out to your family...you are their anchor... I recently read this saying and I went to find it, because I hope it will help in this terrible time of loss.
Don't remember me with sadness, Don't remember me with tears, Remember all the laughter we have shared throughout the years. Now I am contented that my life was worthwhile, knowing that along the way, I made someone smile.
