FINE – Audrey J. Hall, age 85, of Fine, passed away on May 30, 2026 at the Canton-Potsdam Hospital with her family at her side.

Visitation will be held at her home at 100 Folsom Road, Fine NY on Wednesday and Thursday June 3rd and 4th all day. Her graveside service will be held in South Edwards Cemetery on Friday, June 5, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. Arrangements are with French Funeral Home in Edwards. Audrey was born on November 1, 1940 in Gouverneur to the late John H. and Ruth A. (Stowell) Bogardus. She went to the Scott's Bridge School through the 6th grade and graduated from Clifton-Fine Central School in 1958. She then graduated from the Watertown School of Commerce in 1959.

Audrey married Daryl J. Hall on September 26, 1959 at the Edwards Methodist Parsonage officiated by Rev. Albert Cameron. She worked as the Postmaster for the Fine Post Office for 30 years.

Audrey was an active, charter and life member of the NYS Federation of Home Bureaus where she served as State President, Northern District Chairman, Fine Chapter Secretary, Craft Chairman, County Chairman, Treasurer, District Chairman, and State Chairman and 1st and 2nd Vice. She was also a member of the Fine Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary where she served as Secretary and Treasurer, St. Lawrence County Ladies Auxiliary of Volunteer Fire Departments, where she served as Secretary, 2nd and 1st Vice and President, an honorary member of the Fine Fire Department where she served as the Treasurer. Audrey was also a member of the Borderline Quilters Guild, having worked on the quilt camp committee, acting as registrar. She loved quilting and teaching others the craft. She enjoyed spending time with her family and traveling in her retirement.

She is survived by her husband, Daryl Hall, daughter and son-in-law, Angela "Angie" and Paul Skeldon, son, David Hall, 5 grandchildren, Lacey Jo Skeldon, Kelly Skeldon, David Hall II, Kenny Hall, and Austin Hall, and a great-grandson, Brenden Skeldon.

Audrey is predeceased by a son, Dale Lawrence Hall, and her brother, Weldon H. Bogardus, Sr.
