GOUVERNEUR – Cathleen M. Little, age 76, of Gouverneur, passed away on May 22, 2026 under the care of her loving family and hospice.

Cathleen was born on September 4, 1949 in Ellery, NY to the late Emel C. Lund, Sr. and Marguerite (Lown) Lund. She attended the Cassadaga Valley Central School, earned her GED, and went on to college in Pittsburg, PA.

Cathleen married Jacob O. Little, Sr. on March 21, 1970 in the town of Ellery, NY officiated by Rev. Swarts. Cathleen worked as a nurse for Dr. Macdad's office in Greensburg, PA. She enjoyed reading mysteries, was a member of the former Church of the Nazarene in Gouverneur and a member of the United Church of Richville.

Cathleen is survived by her husband of 56 years, Jacob Little, Sr., four children, Georgianne Watson (Melvin Watson), Etta Jane Little (Herbert Collins 3rd) Jacob Little, J r. (Tia Little) and Tonya Fischer (Eric Fischer), and Daughter- In- Law Deborah Little, 17 grandchildren, Michelle Little (Trayvonne Morring), Sarah Brower (Michael Bullers) Crystal Siegel, Johnathan Siegel (Tania Siegel), Amanda Rouse, Matthew Watson, (Savannah Paquin), Joshua Watson (Misty Matice), Chelsie Kelly (Jeron Kelly), Lynsey Parody, Anthony Parody, De'Andre Little, La'Treyvion Little, Kenan Little, Kiani Little, Michala Hackett (Colin Hackett), Dylan Little, and Angela Simione (Colten Simione), and 21 great-grandchildren.

She is also survived by her siblings, Emel Lund (Sonny), Jr. (Jackie Lund), Gretchen Palmieri (Michael Palmieri), and Judy Neal, and Several Nieces and Nephews (Great). She is predeceased by her parents, son, Tracy Little, and siblings, William Lund, Richard Lund (Dicky), Donald Lund, Sue Bentley, and Dianne Brown.
